Weight Loss Injections in Queens, NYTwo very different things go by that name. Here is which is which.
Search “weight loss injections” and you get two things mixed together. One is the prescription GLP-1 — semaglutide from $180 a month or tirzepatide from $190 a month, all-inclusive, prescribed and supervised by Dr. Keisha Bryant, MD. The other is a $30 lipotropic shot, which supports energy and is a useful thing to have alongside a plan but will not take weight off by itself. At Dr. Bryant Medical Practice and MedSpa in St Albans, Queens we do both, and we will tell you plainly which one you are actually after. The 15-minute consult is free.
a month
The two kinds, and how to tell which you want
Prescription GLP-1 injections are the ones you have heard about. Semaglutide is the molecule in Ozempic and Wegovy; tirzepatide is the one in Mounjaro and Zepbound. They are once-weekly injections you give yourself at home, and they work on appetite and how full you feel — which is why they do what diets usually cannot. Here they are $180 a month for semaglutide and $190 a month for tirzepatide, and that figure is all-inclusive: the medication, the monthly MD check-in, dose adjustments and the follow-up are in it. No membership on top, and no surprise lab fee. It is a starting figure rather than a flat one: Dr. Bryant confirms your actual monthly cost at the consult, once the likely dose is known, and you hear it before you commit to anything.
Lipotropic shots are the other thing. Our Lipo-Mino (MIC) shot and Skinny Set are $30 each, given in the office, and they support energy, and the Skinny Set is the heavier blend patients ask about when they are worried about losing lean muscle along with the weight. They are worth having alongside a plan. They are not a substitute for one, and if a clinic has told you a weekly $30 shot will take thirty pounds off you, that clinic is not telling you the truth.
The reason it matters is money. Someone who needs a GLP-1 and buys a year of weekly lipotropic shots has spent about the same and got nowhere. The free 15-minute consult exists precisely so that nobody does that: you come in or join by video, we look at where you actually are, and you leave knowing which of the two you need — including when the answer is neither.
A weight-loss injection is usually the right conversation if
None of these decide it on their own — that is what the consult is for — but they are the reasons people book.
What we offer, and what each one costs
Semaglutide — from $180 a month, all-inclusive
The molecule in Ozempic and Wegovy. A once-weekly injection you give yourself at home, with your medication, your monthly MD check-in, dose adjustments and follow-up all inside the monthly price.
Tirzepatide — from $190 a month, all-inclusive
The molecule in Mounjaro and Zepbound, and generally the stronger of the two. Same arrangement: medication, monthly check-in, dose changes and follow-up in one figure.
Lipo-Mino (MIC) and Skinny Set shots — $30 each
In-office lipotropic injections, about 15 minutes. Energy and metabolism support; the Skinny Set is the heavier blend patients ask about when lean muscle is on their mind. A support to the plan, never the plan itself — and if lean muscle is the worry, the first things to sort out are protein and resistance work, which we will say to you before we sell you anything.
The consult is free, and so is being told no
Fifteen minutes, in person or by video, no charge and no obligation. If a GLP-1 is not right for you — or is not needed — we will say so. We would rather lose the sale than start someone on the wrong thing.
