What is a chemical peel?
A chemical peel is a controlled exfoliation that removes the top layer(s) of damaged skin to reveal newer, smoother, more even-toned skin underneath. Done well, it’s the single most-effective treatment for hyperpigmentation, melasma, acne scars, fine lines, and dull complexion — without surgery or downtime weeks long.
At Dr. Bryant Medical Practice, every peel is selected and performed by a board-certified internal medicine physician. That matters because the wrong peel — especially on darker skin tones — can cause more pigmentation than it removes. A spa technician can’t legally use the medical-grade formulations we offer.
