Privacy Policy

Effective July 13, 2026

Dr. Bryant Medical Practice PC (“Dr. Bryant Medical,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through our website at drbryantmedical.com, how we use it, and the choices you have. It also includes our Notice of Privacy Practices for protected health information (PHI).

Information we collect

Information you give us when you book, submit a form, message our assistant, or contact us:

  • Name, email address, phone number, and similar contact details.
  • The service or program you’re interested in and any notes you choose to share.
  • Appointment details and, where you choose to pay online, payment information processed securely by our payment provider (we do not store full card numbers).

Information collected automatically when you use the site:

  • Device and usage data such as IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and referring source.
  • Cookies and similar technologies used for site functionality and analytics (see “Cookies & analytics”).

How we use your information

  • To schedule, confirm, and manage appointments and to respond to your questions.
  • To provide and improve our services, the website, and your experience.
  • To send appointment reminders by text, and, where you have opted in, email newsletters or offers.
  • To process payments and maintain business records.
  • To comply with legal, regulatory, and professional obligations.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as needed with trusted service providers who help us operate, under contracts that require them to protect it:

  • Payment processing (Stripe), email delivery (Resend), website hosting and security (Cloudflare), and privacy-respecting analytics (Microsoft Clarity).
  • Professional advisors, or where required by law, legal process, or to protect rights and safety.

Notice of Privacy Practices (HIPAA)

As a healthcare provider, Dr. Bryant Medical Practice PC maintains the privacy of your protected health information (PHI) in accordance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and applicable New York law. This summary describes how medical information about you may be used and disclosed and how you can access that information.

  • Treatment, payment, and healthcare operations. We use and disclose PHI to provide and coordinate your care, to bill and obtain payment, and to run the practice.
  • Your rights. You have the right to inspect and request a copy of your records, request corrections, request restrictions on certain uses, request confidential communications, and receive an accounting of certain disclosures.
  • Authorization. Most uses and disclosures beyond treatment, payment, and operations — including most marketing and any sale of PHI — require your written authorization, which you may revoke in writing.
  • Marketing imagery. We do not publish identifiable patient photos or treatment results without a signed, HIPAA-compliant authorization on file.

A full, printable Notice of Privacy Practices is available at the front desk and on request. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below.

Text message (SMS) communications

We text patients from (929) 547-9616. You may opt in on our text alerts page, by ticking the text-message box when you book online, by signing our intake form at the office, or by asking a staff member. Opting in is always optional — consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchase or of receiving medical care.

Messages include appointment confirmations, reminders, and changes; replies from our front desk; and notices about your care. These are transactional messages only — we do not send marketing or promotional texts. Message frequency varies — typically 2–6 messages per month. Message and data rates may apply. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

We share your mobile number only with the service providers who deliver messages on our behalf (for example, our telephony provider), strictly so that the message you asked for can reach you, and with anyone you or the law authorizes. We never sell or rent it.

Reply STOP to any message to opt out at any time, or HELP for help. You may also opt out on our text alerts page or by calling us. Opting out of marketing does not stop essential messages about an appointment you have already booked, and it does not affect your care.

Email communications

If you give us your email address, we may send appointment and billing information and, if you have subscribed, practice news. Every marketing email carries an unsubscribe link. We do not sell your email address.

Cookies & analytics

We use a small number of cookies and analytics tools to keep the site working and to understand how it is used so we can improve it. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Our analytics are configured to exclude administrative and patient-portal areas.

Data security & retention

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your data and limit access to those who need it. We keep information only as long as necessary for the purposes described here or as required by law and professional record-keeping obligations.

Your choices & rights

  • Access, update, or request deletion of personal information (subject to medical record-retention laws).
  • Opt out of marketing emails at any time, or stop text messages by replying STOP.
  • Exercise your HIPAA rights regarding PHI as described above.

Children’s privacy

The website is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through the site. Care for minors is arranged directly with the practice.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Effective” date above reflects the latest version. Material changes will be posted on this page.
