What we do with your information when you apply

In effect from 13 August 2026.

This is not a medical record

Dr. Bryant Medical Practice and MedSpa is a medical practice, so it is worth being clear about this first. When you apply for a job here, we are acting as an employer, not as your doctor. What you send us is an employment record. It is not protected health information under HIPAA, it is never filed in any patient chart, and no member of clinical staff sees it in the course of treating patients.

If you are ever both a patient and an applicant, the two records stay entirely separate.

What we collect

Only what you type into the application form and whatever you choose to attach: your name, email address, phone number, how long you have worked in this kind of role, your licence or certification, your availability, anything you write in the free text box, your confirmation that you are authorised to work in the United States, and your résumé.

What we deliberately do not ask

We do not ask for your salary history, and we would not use it if you offered it. We do not ask about arrests or criminal convictions. We do not ask your date of birth, your age, or when you graduated. We do not ask about your health, any disability, or any medication. We do not ask about your citizenship, your country of birth, your credit, your height or weight, whether you have children or care for anyone, or whether you are currently employed.

We ask you not to put your Social Security number, date of birth, driver’s licence number or any health information in your résumé either. If you already have, tell us and we will remove it.

Who reads it

Dr. Bryant and the practice manager. Nothing is scored, ranked or filtered by software or by artificial intelligence at any point. Every application is read by a person.

Where it is held

Your application is stored in the practice’s own database and your résumé in the practice’s own file storage, both hosted by Cloudflare. A copy of the notification is sent to the practice inbox through our email provider, Resend. Access inside the practice requires a login and a permission that most staff accounts do not have.

How long we keep it

12 months from the point we make a decision, after which the record and the résumé are deleted. We keep it that long because employment discrimination rules require applications to be preserved for at least a year, and because it lets us come back to you if something similar opens up.

If a legal claim is on foot involving the role you applied for, we hold the relevant records until it is resolved.

Asking to see it, correct it or delete it

Email [email protected] and say what you would like. We will tell you what we hold, fix anything wrong, or delete it. Asking us to delete it means we can no longer consider you for the role.

Selling it

We do not. Not to anyone, at any price, ever.
